Capital Campaign
Construction moved along swiftly and The Haven opened the new facility to residents on October 26, 2007. The old shelter has since been demolished.

In the picture with me are some of the key players who have worked hard to make this project a reality.

From left to right after me are Suzanne Rennolds, Capital Campaign Committee Member; Doug Jenkins, Bank of Lancaster Representative; Stacey Carden, Haven Board Chair; John Clickener, Capital Campaign Committee Member; Hazel Farmer, Capital Campaign Committee Member; Andy Kauders, Capital Campaign Committee Chair; Darrell Wahl, Construction Manager P. F Summers of Virginia; Rose Dykstra, P. F. Summers of Virginia; and Paul Summers whose generosity made all of this possible.

Not pictured: Ronnie Gerster, Capital Campaign Committee and Rev. John Farmer of Irvington Baptist Church whose support and partnership with The Haven has been invaluable.
