Education/Outreach Services
The Haven Shelter & Services, Inc. is dedicated to outreach and education dealing with domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The Haven offers a variety of educational presentations that are available free of charge to members of the local community, schools, civic organizations, service providers, faith communities and work places.
- Community Education on Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking and related issues
- Volunteer Training
- Advocacy for Women through Court or Community Agencies
- Agency-specific Training on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault issues – Medical, Law Enforcement, Social Services, etc.
- Teens Promoting Awareness (teen peer group)
