Advocacy & Support
Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Haven staff will meet individuals who have experienced a sexual assault at
the Hospital or Sheriff’s Office when requested. Support Services are also
available through our Community Outreach Program.
The Haven Provides Services to Members of the Community through our
Legal Advocacy Program and our Community Outreach. Trained staff will
meet with Community Members requesting support services and provide
case management services to individuals who have experienced sexual and
or domestic violence.
Support Groups are available to community members who have
experienced sexual or domestic violence as well. Times and dates are listed
on our calendar.
The Haven Staff are active participants in each county's Sexual Assault Response Teams (SARTS). Sexual Assault Response Teams are teams formed to ensure a consistent and effective response to sexual assaults. Teams are generally made up of the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, Law Enforcement, Victim-Witness Offices, Hospitals (forensic nurses) and Sexual Assault Crisis Centers (The Haven).
